Starting a campaign soon and need advice about beastmen. Never played mordheim before so be as basic as you like, don’t presume I’ll know. Is there an errata anywhere for the Beastmen Raiders warband from the Empire In Flames document? As it stands, the equipment list is. We’re returning to Mordheim after probably a 2 or 3 year gap, and I’m trying something we’ve never used in Mord, Beastmen. So I’m looking for.

Beastmen are known as the Children of Chaos and this is literally true, for they are unnatural monsters born of beast and man during the cataclysmic Time of Chaos, when Chaos first touched the mortal world. I’ll post the Malal Chaos Warrior warband if you’re interested!

The low leadership 7 makes it easier for your Beastmen warband to route, but there is a way around that with the Beastman special skill “Bellowing Roar”, which allows you to re-roll any fails route tests. A very bold choice in skintone, but it works well. I’m guessing these are intended more for Empire in Flames, but I still think something a little darker would suit them better.

Beastmen are human-animal hybrids, both in body and mind. Not sure about the bases though. Beastmen live in nomadic herds led by Beastman Champions of Chaos.
In the future I want to include another warhound and ungor, and four additional gors. Get in fast and hard as you’ve got nothing to shoot back with. That reddish dark skin looks suberb Is this minotaur an older one from GW or is it from someone else? We thought the pdf was a 2nd edition?
Nice touch with the gory shield too. I think it fits them really well. A Caprigor with these mutations and no others is called a Truegor and are stronger, braver and more intelligent than other Caprigors. Good to see some activity in here The minis look nice. Not in your starting band, just charge each of his guys with 2 or 3 guys at once and be sure to single out heroes to make their advancement far less each game.

Beastmen have no shooting, so you need to get to the enemy fast and try not to die on the way there. The Beastmen warband is quick, agile, and brutal.
Borgnine Moderator Staff member. Also, you can take it slow if it’s safer, if you move into partial cover, warbannd didn’t run, you can use the hide rule to be able to not be shot at at all. Beqstmen will be your best friend.
